Just firing off another quickie - a bit of an alternate take/fusion/evolution of the look, turning the corset into more of a belt-like thing and adding a chiffon babydoll to it, showing a little skin but also making use of the design space around her mid section. これだ！！ってきがするね～
Also just for added reference, some sample expression that suit her character, taken from characters that are also similar in personality.
And as a final tidbit, the main characters of the entire overarching story have been sketched out - no visuals yet, but conceptually they're coming to life nicely. The theme of "Three" will be pretty heavily focused on - Real Life, In-Game-Life, and Metaphorical-REAL-Real-Life, in terms of layers through which the story will unfold; or Courage, Wisdom and Power to borrow from another franchise! Three guesses which one this girl embodies :P
The story's 'main' antagonist will embody one segment, and the 'victim/sidekick/romantic foil character will embody the other.
I'm guessing Courage :) But that might be too likely of a guess, maybe you're tricking me.
ReplyDeleteHaha no courage is what we're going with :P - its the typical choice, but at the same time I think it makes a good story none the less - much heroic, very excite!~
ReplyDeleteAt the same time, with the male lead being a cynical, pessimistic, selfish, perhaps somewhat of an unfriendly loner, representing wisdom I think there'll be a good dynamic between the two. And besides, sunny, optimistic, idealistic and somewhat idiotic outlooks can work well with a super 元気 female character methinks :).
Yeah, I totally agree; sometimes the typical or expected choice is the best one.
DeleteIn the case of assigning her the 'Courage' side of the Triforce (love the LoZ reference, of course), Courage makes a lot of sense. Wisdom doesn't seem to meet your description at all (maybe that's the guy?), and Power would probably necessarily entail some kind of major, unexpected Heaven's Feel-esque developments, also reminiscent of .Hack//roots' Haseo, the main character who turns himself into what comes to be known as "The Terror of Death". It's a similar case with GSDestiny's Shinn I suppose~

I've come to like your new main character. I like the transparent "chiffon babydoll" thing. I still like the other character design, of course; I hope she gets used for something fairly big :)
