Our Hero, our Hero, claims a warriors heart~

Meet Valkari~ I was flipping through the Skyrim art book and got inspired by the mage's outfits to find some awesome Skyrim character art for 5th Edition character concepts - and Valkari was discovered. She, in her original form, belongs to an artist credited in her character sheet.

The inspiration was awesome and the ideas poured forth. Daughter of a Jarl in the north. Shamed as a child and looked down upon by the nobles of her court. Blessed with the gift of magic since young age, she is cursed with visions of disaster. She would do anything to prevent the flames of suffering and torment that greet her nightmares. Her shameful past caused her father's name to be called into question, and in defence of his daughter and house, her father was slain in battle by his age-old enemy. She blames herself for his death, and at the bidding of her nursemaid she fled to the south. One day she vows to ride triumphantly into the halls of her birth and retake the throne that is her birthright.

I'm the Avatar and you gotta deal with it!

Another little something I drummed up, borrowing art from a rather legendary Deviant-artist I've followed for quite some time now: Lynestra Sunstorm, a Blood Elf raised by Nagrand Orcs, trained as a shaman. She is sent through the dark portal to Azeroth, a land she has only seen in her dreams to answer the call of the elements, realize her destiny and bring balance to a world falling into chaos!

She's been modeled as a D&D 4th Ed Sorcerer, with powers reskinned to fit within the mold of  a Warcraft shaman, but will most likely star in a series of short story fan fics within the warcraft universe.

Keeping things simple, she'll be heavily reminiscent of Korra, the avatar, with her immature, stand-offish take-no-prisoners-attitude. Stay tuned for future updates!

I must protect the Wilds!

Just a little something I whipped up for one of the players at my table: A feral druid style character that shifts into a partial animal form to use claw and bite attacks while still standing upright. The general theme of this character is "cat-girl".

Suffer not the witch to live. Burn the Unclean!

So i got to talking with a certain God of Snow the other day, and proposed the idea for an Azeroth based campaign setting for my regular gaming group. Following the Warcraft universe and based either in Pathfinder or D&D 4th ed. or some hybridization of the two, it looks like it'll shape up pretty well! There's no shortage of visuals, plot hooks or adventure locations and themes to explore within such a well thought out world, not to mention the ease of using WoW's extensive OST to help build fitting ambiance.

Although I'm the usual DM, the cogs started turning while I was browsing my folders of amazing WoW tcg art and got to thinking what kind of character I'd play if I were adventuring in this setting. Behold: Elwynn Penderghast, cleric of the Scarlet Crusade, Priestess of the Holy Fire and Scourge of the Unclean.

Character Sheet to follow~
